Day school survivors worry they will be left out of whatever apology Pope makes for residential schools

Day scholars and day school students were not included in the Indian Residential School Settlement Agreement and were not part of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. They may also not be part of Pope Francis’ impending apology for the role of the Catholic Church.
